The local forecast said: "rain", and rain it has been. Heavy rain - in some places the track was soaked, and rivers crossed the asphalt in a few corners. The situation was tricky for everybody, but especially for Gabor. A former winner, here - as Aoyama - he is facing the track for the first time with a MotoGP. And he had to do it in the wet. The warm-up will be extremely important: the forecast indicates mixed conditions for tomorrow. In case of a dry race, everybody is hoping in a dry warm up as well. Gabor Talmacsi (MotoGP) 16th – 1'36”055: "It was my first time, on the wet. We began which a basic set-up. Then, we stopped, as programmed, to switch to my second bike, and we improved. With 17 minutes to go, I stopped for the third time, to change tyres and to modify the setup. We did not get what was desidered, but we have a few ideas to improve". Hiroshi Haoyama (250cc) 4th - 1'34”285: "I'm happy: the first row is a good result. Tomorrow, a good start will be really important, to handle the traffic in the first corners. If it's going to rain, for the race, we have already a good set up and can improve further. In case of dry race, we will see: this weekend we had a short time to prepare a proper set-up. But everybody has the same problem". Raffaele De Rosa (250cc) 17th – 1'36”097: "It was a good beginning of the session. Better then in the morning, which was quite good. Suddenly, in the T2, I lost the rear, and slipped. What annoys me more, is that when it's raining, you should do as many laps as possible. I'm confident we can improve, for the race. Head down, let's push".
