GP DE FRANCE - Qualifying session |
|

Le Mans - A mutable weather was the main issue with all three riders. Takahashi and De Rosa, newcomers in their classes, had sessions more complicated than others, as they want all the possible time to study the bike and fix the setup. Yuki Takahashi (MotoGP) 15th - 1'35.774: "Since Jerez, I've problems with the front fork. To fix it, we should have constant weather, and possibly dry. It was not the case of Le Mans. Nevertheless, we have been able to do a step ahead during the qualifying. For tomorrow, we'll see: everything depends on the weather". Hiroshi Aoyama (250cc) 3rd - 1'38.682: "Tomorrow I'll move from the front, and this is very important, as important will be a good start and a good pace. It's difficult to evaluate the performance of the fellows competitors because of the weather. And the weather will have an important say also tomorrow: I hope it will be constant". Raffaele De Rosa (250cc) 7th - 1'39.367: "As a newcomer in this class, at the beginning of every weekend I have to adapt myself. We changed a few things, and I found a better feeling with my front tyre. We did a good job also with the rear, and at a certain point of the qualifying I found myself competing in the usual group of old friends. And that was fun. For tomorrow, no preferences: sun or rain, is the same".
