A severe wind blowing across the track made the day very difficult, especially for the guys of the smaller 250 bikes. But, for the first time since the beginning of the season, no rain in the two opening days of the GP, and that was enough to make everybody happy.

Yuki Takahashi (MotoGp) 13^th - 1'40.599:
"I'm quite happy. Good weather all the two days - great. It was windy, but wind is not such a problem as rain is. This morning I found a good setting, and we modified it just slightly in the afternoon. There was not enough time to do a long run, but I did my best lap running alone, ad this means that that is a realistic pace."

Hiroshi Aoyama (250cc) 6^th - 1'43.591:
"We did a hard job, but for some reason it did not pay. Others have been able to adapt better to the conditions. The wind was strong and disturbing a lot".

Raffaele De Rosa (250cc) 12^th - 1'44.484:
"At the end, with new tyres, I could do better, but I had to brake, and slow down, because of heavy traffic. We have to improve our set-up to make the bike better with used tyres - in this condition, we are not as good as we should. Today, it was very windy: especially in a couple of places, it made difficult to race at the maximum".
