In the 250 class, Hiroshi Aoyama got a good 4th place, while Raffaele De Rosa classified 5th, after having raced for several laps in 3rd place. Hiroshi Aoyama (250cc) - 4th:
"It was a completely strange race, and I'm a little bit disappointed. I was expecting to make well at the front, but the conditions changed. The bike was hard to push, especially at the beginning. But at the end, with four laps to go, I could go better and better and I tried to catch them, but it was too late. Anyway we could finish in a good place and this is not so bad. I hope we can make it better in Japan". Raffaele De Rosa (250cc) - 5th:
"The bike was good, but the track was slippery, and because of this my tyres began too soon to have problems. So, from mid-race on, I had to be cautious to defend my position. In the last lap it became more and more difficult, at at the and I lost a few places".
