Hiroshi Aoyama leaves Brno still leading the 250cc championship, 12 points ahead of the second placed, and 32 in front of the third. His was a two-sides GP - a first part in which he was able to fight for the victory, and a second part in which he had to preserve a very precious fourth place. Raffaele De Rosa is on top of the rookies classification, 27 points ahead of the second. Today's sixth place is just one position from his best result - he was fifth in Qatar. Gabor Talmacsi was in a condition to enjoy a good fight, at the beginning, but later on he had to slow down because of a grip problem. Tomorrow's test will focus especially on this. Gabor Talmacsi (MotoGP) 13th: “The first laps were not bad - I was able to overtake three riders, and enjoyed a good fight. When the bike began to skid, I decided to keep the best possible rhythm to the end. It is still the same problem: we do not possess a good rear grip, and keeping the line out of the corners is also not easy. I'm certain we can find a solution - we all are working hard to get that target". Hiroshi Aoyama (250cc) 4th: "I did quite a good start, and during all the first part of the GP my pace would put me on the podium. From a certain point on... how can I say... my bike looked very tired". Raffaele De Rosa (250cc) 6th: "This is not my best result of the season - I was fifth in Qatar - but this sixth place, got on the dry and during the day, is a more real one. Overtaking was not easy, but the performance of the bike was pretty good and constant. I'm happy not only for the placement, but also because I've been able to post lap times as fast as the best riders. With a better position on the grid, starting side to side with the fastest competitors, I'm certain I could do even better". Emanuele Ventura (Technical Director): "It is not a secret: our Honda does not perform at his best in a certain range of temperatures. This is what slowed Hiro down. Nevertheless, he was able to get a precious fourth place. Raffaele did very well; in my opinion, this has been his best race so far. Gabor is improving, as demonstrated in the first part of the race, when he was able to overtake a few riders. The rear grip is not what we want. This evening we are going to analyze all data again and prepare a schedule for tomorrow's test". Alberto Martinelli (Sporting Director): "Hiroshi is still leading the 250 championship, and Raffaele raced his best GP in this class. They are a very consistent pair: two of the only three riders who got points in every race. I'm really sorry that we are still not able to allow Gabor to express at his best, but we are confident that tomorrow's test will allow us an important step ahead".
