When Italian riders talk about Misano, they often say: "our home track". And when they say "home", they really mean "home": if you take a compass, center it to Santa Monica -a tiny hamlet of Misano where the track is - open it to Riolo Terme (80 km north to Bologna) and draw a circle, you define an area that hosts the homes of a great part of them. As well as three circuits out of the biggest four existing in Italy. Teams are no exception, and a big number have their garage right there. As far as the Scot Racing is concerned, the team is from San Marino, on the hills just north of the track, and the main sponsor, the Scot Group, has his High Quarter in Mercato Saraceno, on the road that leads from Cesena to Tuscany. Everything inside the Magic Circle. Not Scot's riders. Gabor Talmacsi comes from Budapest, Hungary; Hiroshi Aoyama from Tokyo, Japan. Raffaele De Rosa, the only Italian, from Naples, far away south. Nevertheless, he's used to come to the Riviera because of strong friendship with fellow riders living there. They use to train together. However, all three feel that for the squad this is not "any" GP, but "the" GP. Gabor Talmacsi (MotoGP): "Misano is a track of good memories. I won the 125 race in 2008, and was second the year before. I'll try my best - I hope we can find right there a solution to improve our Honda and make it more suitable to me". Hiroshi Aoyama (250cc): "Misano is my team's home track. They want a great performance. And I want the same. I like it, and I already was on the podium there in 2007. It should suit our Honda. I hope we can use all the working time to set-up the bike at its best". Raffaele De Rosa (250cc): "My schedule is quite clear, dictated by the doctors after my crash at Indianapolis: rest. Ice when and where necessary. In 2008, with my same bike, the team got a podium. I'm very confident".
